Testimonial from attendees... We recently had Sarah give a presentation on attachment theory and parenting styles to us here at Catholic Moms Connect, and I must say it was incredibly enlightening and valuable. Her depth of knowledge on the subject was evident from the start, and she presented complex psychological theories in a way that was accessible and relatable to everyone in the audience. What impressed me the most was Sarah's ability to connect theory with real-life examples and practical advice. She illustrated how different parenting styles can impact a child's attachment and development, providing insights that were both enlightening and thought-provoking. It was clear that she not only understood the academic aspects of attachment theory but also had a deep empathy as well as a wealth of personal experience, with the challenges parents face. Throughout the presentation, Sarah engaged the audience and encouraged questions, which made the session feel comfortable approachable. She was able to give advice and feedback to a number of different questions that involved real life situations and struggles and the feeling was "I didn't want it to end, the topic is so big and Sarah is so knowledgeable!" Her passion for the subject and for helping families thrive was palpable, and it left us feeling inspired and empowered as a parents ourselves. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of attachment theory or improve their parenting skills. Her expertise, combined with her warmth and approachability, make her an invaluable resource in the field of family therapy.
Finding Healing through Parts Work

Parts Work incorporates the understanding of oneself as an Innermost Self, or "true self" and separate but connected parts whose identities have been shaped by particular experiences to which they have responded. In this way, we can conceptualize parts in relationship with each other, interacting, in a dynamic and sometimes conflictual way. By getting to know and making connections with our parts, we create space for the Innermost Self to emerge. The innate qualities of the Innermost Self make it a compassionate and competent leader whose guidance can bring healing and calm to our interior life.
Objectives:
The history of the concept of Inner Parts
The Innermost Self
Part identities and functions
Unblending
Communication with Parts
Guided meditation
Testimonial from attendees... My daughters and I had the pleasure of attending a talk that Sarah gave on “Healing through parts work.” It was my first introduction to the topic, and as a mom of a large family who is always willing to learn why we act and react the way we do, I found it enlightening and interesting. Even though the subject was a new concept for me and packed a lot of information, Sarah broke it down and made it easy to understand. The presentation was very well organized, and you could tell she was a knowledgeable and confident speaker. My daughters especially enjoyed the visual exercises at the end of the talk and the overall experience was very positive for all of us. I would absolutely recommend attending one of Sarah’s talks and look forward to the next one.
